What is Live Wedding Illustration?
At your wedding, I set up a live illustration station where I create custom portraits of your guests. I’ll quickly snap their photo so they can get back to enjoying the day, then I draw their portrait on my iPad. Once it’s ready, I print it out right there, giving them a unique, hand-drawn keepsake to take home from your celebration. Each guest can get a copy of the artwork to take home, rather than sharing one image between two.
Having live illustrations at your wedding gives your guests an unforgettable experience, they get to watch art being created just for them, and leave with a beautiful keepsake.
How It Works
I’ll arrive about 45 minutes before I’m due to begin illustrating and set up my station at your venue.
Throughout the day, guests are welcome to come over for a portrait. I’ll take a quick photo of them so they can head straight back to the celebrations while I work on their illustration.
Once finished, each portrait is displayed on the table for guests to admire and collect later in the day - a beautiful keepsake they can take home to remember your wedding.
My assistant will be with me to take their photos, print and talk to any guests - whilst I am busy drawing!
How To Book
If you’d love to have live illustrations at your wedding, simply get in touch with your date and venue details. I’ll confirm my availability and we can chat through the packages to find the perfect fit for your day.
Once you’re happy to go ahead, a deposit of 25% will secure your date in my diary. The rest of the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding, leaving you free to focus on the fun parts of planning!
